Resize images online, in bulk
This free image resizer changes the size of your photos in seconds: set an exact width and height in pixels, scale by a percentage, or limit the longest side. It handles JPG, PNG, WebP, GIF and iPhone HEIC photos, and resizes many pictures at once, downloading them together as a ZIP.
Ready-made sizes cover Instagram posts and stories, YouTube thumbnails, Facebook link images and X headers. Pictures are resized right in your browser, so even private photos are never uploaded to a server.
How to resize pictures
- Drop your pictures onto the box, click it to choose files, or paste a picture with Ctrl + V.
- Choose Exact size and type a width (and height, if you need an exact shape). With only a width, the height follows automatically so nothing looks stretched.
- If you set both width and height, choose Fit inside (whole picture, may be smaller on one side), Fill and crop (exact size, edges trimmed) or Stretch.
- Or choose Percentage to scale everything, or Longest side to make sure no picture is wider or taller than a limit.
- Click Resize pictures, check the new sizes in the list, then Download. Several pictures come as one ZIP file.
Questions
Will resizing reduce the quality?
Making a picture smaller keeps it sharp; this tool shrinks in steps for the best result. Making a small picture much bigger can't add detail, so by default small pictures aren't enlarged.
How do I resize a photo without stretching it?
Type only the width (or choose “Longest side”). The height is worked out to keep the original shape.
Can I resize iPhone HEIC photos?
Yes. HEIC photos are converted and resized; choose JPG under “Format and quality” to save them in a format every device opens.
Is there a limit on the number of pictures?
No set limit. Very large batches depend on your device's memory; a few hundred photos is usually fine.
