Privacy
The short version: your files stay on your device. No accounts, no ads, no tracking.

Your files
Toolerr tools process your files inside your own browser. The videos, photos, audio, documents and text you open in a tool are not uploaded to Toolerr or anyone else. When you close the page, they're gone unless you saved a copy.
What we don't do
- No accounts or sign-ups.
- No advertising, and no tracking or analytics cookies.
- We don't sell, rent or share personal information.
What your browser downloads to make tools work
Like most websites, Toolerr pages load a few things from other services:
- Google Fonts, for the lettering on the site and the caption fonts in the tools.
- jsDelivr, a public library host, for the code that reads and writes video and audio.
- Hugging Face, for the speech models that time words to audio in Subtitle & Lyric Sync and Video Creator. They're downloaded once and kept in your browser's storage for next time.
The Stock Media Downloader sends your searches, with the API keys you enter, straight from your browser to Pixabay, Pexels and Unsplash, and downloads the files from them. Your keys are only kept in this browser (if you tick "Remember my keys") and never reach Toolerr.
These services see the same basic details as any web request (your IP address and browser type), but never your files or anything you type into a tool.
Settings saved on your device
Tools remember things like your theme, caption style and other choices in your browser's local storage, so they're ready next time. This stays on your device and isn't sent anywhere. Clearing this site's data in your browser removes it.
Contact and suggestion forms
When you send a message or suggest a tool, what you typed (and your email address, if you gave one) is emailed to me so I can read it and reply. It's used only for that, never added to a mailing list or shared.
To stop spam, the server keeps a scrambled (hashed) form of your IP address for up to a day, only to limit how many messages can be sent. If you'd like a message you sent deleted, just ask.
Hosting
The site is hosted by Hostinger. Like all web hosts, its servers keep standard access logs (IP address, page requested and time) for security and to keep the site running.
