Split a PDF into separate files
This free PDF splitter lets you see every page of a PDF and take out exactly what you need. Extract pages into a new PDF by clicking them, split into ranges such as chapters, save every page as its own PDF, or cut a long file into equal parts (for example, every 2 pages for double-sided forms). Your file is never uploaded.
How to split a PDF
- Drop a PDF onto the box. Every page appears as a small picture.
- Choose a way to split:
- Pick pages: click the pages to keep (or type numbers like 1-3, 5). They're saved together in one new PDF, in the order you list them.
- Split into ranges: type ranges like 1-3, 4-7; each range becomes its own PDF.
- Every page separately: one PDF per page.
- Every few pages: equal parts, for example every 2 pages.
- Click Split PDF. One file downloads as a PDF; several come together in a ZIP.
