    How to merge PDF files

    3. Type a name for the new file if you like.
    4. Click Merge PDFs. The combined PDF downloads straight away.

    Is it safe to merge confidential PDFs here?

    Yes. The files are combined inside your browser and never sent to a server, so they stay on your computer.

    Will links and bookmarks be kept?

    Page content, text and pictures are kept exactly. Form fields and bookmarks from the original files may not carry over.

    Can I merge password-protected PDFs?

    Files that only restrict editing usually merge fine. Files that need a password to open must be unlocked first.
