Turn PDF pages into pictures
This PDF to JPG converter saves each page of a PDF as an image, ready to post on social media, put in a presentation, send in a chat app, or use in a video. Choose JPG for small files, PNG for the sharpest text and diagrams, and a resolution up to 300 dpi for printing.
How to convert a PDF to images
- Drop a PDF onto the box. The pages appear as previews.
- Choose the format: JPG or PNG.
- Choose the sharpness. Good (150 dpi) suits screens; Print (300 dpi) makes large, very sharp images.
- To convert only some pages, type them in Pages, for example 1-3, 5.
- Click Convert to images. One page downloads as an image; several come as a ZIP. Click any preview to save just that page.
Questions
What resolution should I choose?
150 dpi gives an A4 page about 1240 × 1750 pixels, plenty for screens. Use 300 dpi for printing or zooming in on small text.
Can I convert a PDF to images on my phone?
Yes. The tool works in phone browsers too; very large PDFs at 300 dpi may need a computer.
