This tip calculator works out the tip on a restaurant, taxi or delivery bill and splits the total evenly between any number of people. Choose a common tip (10%, 15%, 18%, 20%) or type your own, and tick Round up so everyone pays a simple whole amount; the extra goes to the tip.
How much should I tip?
Customs vary by country. In the United States 15–20% is usual at restaurants. In the UK and India around 10% is common where service isn't already included, and in many countries tipping is optional. Check the bill for a service charge first, so you don't tip twice.

What does rounding up do?
